State Farm has launched a Distracted Driving Awareness Campaign ~ A few seconds can change everything!

Distracted driving is preventable - and it increases crash risk fast. Safety research indicates that taking your eyes off the road for just 2 seconds can double your crash risk. Texting takes about 4.6 seconds on average; at 55 mph, that’s roughly the length of a football field traveled with eyes off the road. Research also associates texting while driving with a 23× higher likelihood of a safety‐critical event.

How can you reduce distraction?

  • Enable Do Not Disturb while driving

  • Set navigation and music before you drive

  • Pull over safely if you must read or respond

Amy Smith, the newest member of our team is our front line Customer Service Administrator. Christie,Kari and Nicole have a combined have a combined 45 years of insurance experience and would love the opportunity to work with you to create your insurance plan.
